Sale - happen only a couple of times a year in France. It's the only time that shops are allowed to cut prices heavily and as soon as Solde time comes around you'll often see shops going to -30% or even -50% on product. From a retailer's point of view it's a perfect time to move on stock...and from a customer point of view, it's a brilliant time to pick up a deal. And since Chamonix is a shopper's paradise year round, there are plenty of deals out there. Zero G "We're starting at 30% on DC Shoes, Analog & Nike 6.0" says Martin Green, manager of trendy Chamonix skate, bike & board shop Zero G. "We expect to sell out pretty fast, but if there's anything left at the end of the soldes we'll do even bigger deals". Expect to see similar deals at Snell, Peak Performance, Patagonia, Helly Hansen and beyond. Soldes in the 74 region run from 22nd June to 26th July.
