The night before last, the "Chamonix Chamois" played in the 16th final of the French Ice Hockey cup. Chamonix were in Grenoble, but lost 1-4. The other team from the Mont Blanc region didn't fare much better. "Mont Blanc" lost 2 - 6 to Villard de Lans. On the other hand, Morzine will continue to the next phase of the Coupe de France, after eliminating Val Vanoise 16 - 2.
