Yesterday, the 24th September 2014, the Company Mont Blanc tried and tested a new attraction for visiting tourists.
A helium balloon raised above Montenvers.
This is just a prototype, the final version should be able to carry about 20 people up to 200 meters above the Montenvers, providing spectacular views of Mer de Glace and surrounding mountains.
Test period takes 3 days.
If the results are successful, the eco balloon will start floating in summer, 2015.
