Yesterday, the 16th December 2014, the Compagnie du Mont Blanc announced the Chamonix & Les Houches Ski Area Opening for the Christmas weekend.
It is quite true that the start of this winter season is very difficult, as a result of the slight snow cover. However, the Compagnie du Mont-Blanc is very determined to propose a selection of activities up the mountain to satisfy its visitors.
"Despite all this, Chamonix is still Chamonix. This winter is not too generous with us, but the CMB team will work hard this week in order to offer to all tourists many others activities", declared Eric Pantalacci, the president of the Chamonix Hotels Trade Union. Let's hope everything opens as planned!
