In the other side of the Mont Blanc Tunnel, the Thermes of Pré Saint Didier (Italy) attract already some of the Chamonix tourists. In Switzerland, it's the Bains de Lavey, just 45 minutes away, with its saunas, pools, jacuzzis & massage that offers also this service to the Chamonix visitors. For the children, you have even closer the Marécotes. But if all goes according with the predicted, after 5 million euros and 3 years without exterior pool, Chamonix will have its own health, beauty & nautical center, with jacuzzi, pools and much more. Just by the side of this center, some people would like to see the old lake (photo) to be transformed into a bio-top lake, like in Clomboux. Will see.. Chamonix is not just about ski and alpinism. Chamonix is diversifying its offers and the 'water' is one of them.
