Swiss motorway vignette up by 3 €

It has been confirmed today that if you wish to drive on the Swiss motorways, it will cost you 34.50 euros instead of the present 31.50 euros. This sticker allows you to drive on motorways and toll-roads in Switzerland. If you're caught driving without one on the motorway (eg the motorway to Geneva airport), you will be liable to a fine of 85 euros in addition to the price of the vignette. To purchase this sticker in Haute Savoie, you can go to the Automobile Club of Mont Blanc in Annecy, but the easiest way is still probably in any Swiss petrol station or at the Swiss frontier itself. They're available from the beginning of November for the following year.
