The Chamonix "Tram Train"

On Tuesday evening, the Chamonix Community Board members voted unanimously for a motion to support the "Tram Train" and for renovation of the Mont Blanc Express railway line. The decision reaffirms the commitment between the town of Chamonix and the Réseau Ferré de France (RFF) before their next meeting together on the 23 November at the RFF headquarters in Paris. On the 23 November, the RFF will confirm its intentions in the prescence of the President of the "Community of Municipalities", the Mayor Eric Fournier. He will be accompanied by the Prefect of the region, as well as elected representatives of the Rhône-Alpes Region and the General Council.
