Over the last few weeks, la Compangie du Mont Blanc has been working hard on the ridge of the Aiguille de Midi to set up the "Z". The new wide track will facilitate the access for all skiers and snowboarders on the Valley Blanche.
The Z is in! Mission accomplished!!!
Thanks to the posts and ropes that have been installed, now, you can descend the Aiguille du Midi ridge easier than you ever thought!
Chamonix.net and Chamonix Ski Guide team went up there (at 3842m), to offer you some sensational pictures of the performed works. Enjoy them!
Reminder:
The Valley Blanche is not a piste, but a high mountain route with unprepared snow on the glaciers, it is riddled with crevasses and there can be a high risk of serac falls and avalanches. Even if you are a good skier, these routes are recommended under the guidance of a qualified high mountain guide.
Have a great season in Chamonix! Get out and enjoy your skiing!
