Grands Montets: Three Italian mountaineers went missing

Wednesday evening 8th August 2018, the PGHM of Chamonix launched a call for witnesses to find three Italian mountaineers.

According to France Bleu, the three Italian mountaineers have not been seen since Tuesday morning. They were going towards the Petite Aiguille Verte.

These two men and a woman in their thirties, took one of the first cabins to reach the summit of Grands Montets Tuesday between 7:30 a.m. and 7:50 a.m. Since then, no one heard from them.

According to the Italian press agency ANSA, it is a Bardonecchia alpine rescue soldier, his brother, and a woman. It was the Italian rescue team that gave the alert.
