It's hard to miss all the news paper articles and TV reports on the possibility that Annecy Haute Savoie could host the 2018 Olympics and speculations on where the events would take place. Also hard to miss the enthousiasm the whole department has for the project with numerous rallies of support from Annecy to Evian to Morzine. Les Houches-Chamonix plans to build a human chain of 2018 skiers on the famous Verte piste in Les Houches (usually home to the world reknowned Kandahar race) on the 31st of January. So come and support Chamonix's return to Olympic history since its 1924 debut.
