The New Year's Eve fireworks combined with the phenomenon of temperature inversion caused a sharp increase of the suspended particles in the air. Therefore, on Saturday, January 1, Chamonix was polluted because of the festivities. The level of information and recommendation was largely achieved and we were not that far from that of the threshold. This pollution was punctual.
