UTMB: François D’Haene will be at the start of the race in 2025... four years later!
François D’Haene will be back on the Ultra Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB) in 2025, four years after his last participation.
The four-time winner of the race announced it on his social networks this week:
"I'm going back again this summer, accompanied by the family I hope, after 4 years the children have grown a little as well as the desire and motivation, he wrote. The appetite is built over time. A 100-mile requires a lot of freshness and motivation. It's my driving force.
Well beyond training and physical condition, we go so far that the important thing is to know why we are going and how we are going."
